Qualifications

• 13+ years total experience in design with cabin and cargo and/or system installation projects.
• Strong capability with finite modeling of structures using implicit and explicit methods (Nastran, LS-Dyna, Abaqus, Radioss, HyperWorks).
• BS in Engineering with emphasis on structural and/or systems design and installation.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously perform complex detailed stress analysis of cabin or cargo components using hand methods and Finite Element methods.
• Review supplier stress substantiation reports for compliance with aircraft design requirements.
• Coordinate with design engineers, suppliers and technical leads to meet project deliverables.
• Set broad objectives with timelines and establish tasks to be completed.
• Mentor less experienced structural analysts and provide leadership across a wide range of problems.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of management and external stakeholders.
