Job summary

Axiom Custom Products is seeking a Build Manager to lead day-to-day execution within the Build department, coordinating three build teams under the Head of Manufacturing and Assistant Manufacturing Manager. You will ensure staffing, scheduling, quality, and labor targets are met while maintaining safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include real-time planning, cross-department handoffs, and ongoing process improvements to reduce rework and improve delivery times.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of build processes including woodworking, cabinetry, assembly, and quality control.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming, machine operation, and material selection.
• Finish techniques such as painting, powder coating, and related processes.
• Experience leading teams in a custom fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution in Build department with three build teams.
• Staff workload and allocate resources to meet schedule and labor targets.
• Monitor progress in real time and adjust plans to resolve bottlenecks.
• Ensure assemblies are complete, labeled, counted and ready for downstream teams.
• Collaborate with other manufacturing departments for smooth handoffs and sequencing.
