Job summary

Eden Florida, LLC is seeking a Lead Curator (Budtender) to educate patients about medical cannabis and guide their wellness journey in a welcoming retail setting. You will greet patients, tailor recommendations, and ensure compliance with state regulations.

The role requires 21+, background check, willingness to train, and flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Compensation is $18-$19 hourly DOE, with strong emphasis on customer service and community education.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with a valid government-issued ID.
• Pass a Level II background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Passion for holistic health and alternative medicine.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong cannabis product knowledge preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing cannabis field training.
• Open availability including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.
• Provide exceptional customer service by guiding patients through Eden’s product offerings based on their unique wellness goals, symptoms, and consumption preferences.
• Educate patients on cannabis product types, routes of administration, dosing, proper usage, and benefits.
• Stay up to date on new product offerings and industry trends to share with patients.
• Process transactions and dispense medications accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing store and product displays.
• Participate in community outreach efforts to promote Eden’s mission and expand patient awareness.
• Ensure consistent adherence to all safety protocols, company SOPs, and state cannabis compliance regulations across all retail and storage areas.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive, supportive, and inclusive work environment.
• Use proper cash handling SOPs as trained.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21+ years of age and possess a valid government-issued ID.
• Must be able to pass and clear a Level II background screening and pre-employment drug screening.
• A passion for holistic health, wellness, and alternative medicine.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products, alternative medicine, and their benefits preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a diverse patient base.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm, compassionate, and focused in a dynamic environment.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education in the cannabis field.
• Must have open availability to work varied hours and cover staffing needs including mornings, evenings, weekends, cannabis celebration days such as 4/20 and 7/10, and other holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Must have the ability to stand for extended periods, exceeding 4 hours.
• Ability to bend, sit, and stand continuously during assigned shifts.
• Capable of independently lifting 30 pounds.
• Comfortable carrying out duties that may involve physical exertion in a busy retail environment.
