Job summary

Savmn is hiring a Lead Budtender for our new retail dispensary in Minnesota. You will guide front-line staff, set the tone for an exceptional customer experience, and lead the opening team through launch day and beyond.

The role requires 1–3 years of retail or customer service, 21+ age, and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of cannabis regulations and POS systems is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED Certificate.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 1 to 3 years of retail or customer service experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ganjier Product Specialist Certification, or ability to obtain certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dispensary opening team and guide front-line staff.
• Set the tone for exceptional customer experience and service.
• Oversee shift operations with attention to compliance and presentation.
• Address staff instructions, incidents, and coordination with management.
• Utilize POS and seed-to-sale tools to track inventory and sales.

Our new retail dispensary is entering its final stages and preparing for an exciting grand opening. We're searching for a strong Lead Budtender to help launch the store, guide front-line staff, and set the tone for an exceptional customer experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of local and state cannabis sales regulations, compliance frameworks, and age-verification procedures.
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products, delivery methods, cannabinoids, terpenes, and emerging industry trends.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills when interacting with, educating, and guiding a wide variety of people.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities for operational, staffing, or customer-related challenges during a shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to provide staff instructions, document incidents, and coordinate with dispensary management.
• Proficiency with POS systems, cannabis inventory tracking software (seed-to-sale systems), and basic technology tools.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities to manage daily shift operations while maintaining high presentation and compliance standards.
• Demonstrates integrity, dependability, accountability, leadership capabilities, and courtesy in all job duties and interactions

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Supervisory, leadership, or keyholder experience in a retail or hospitality environment.
• Experience in cannabis retail, ideally in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all background screening and eligibility requirements applicable to cannabis workers under Minnesota law and Office of Cannabis Management requirements.
