Job summary

Reeves Construction Company, a Colas USA subsidiary, seeks an experienced Bridge Lead Carpenter based in Rock Hill, SC. The role supports repair, maintenance, and replacement of bridges and structures, with a strong emphasis on safety excellence.

At least 5 years in bridge/heavy highway construction and 2+ years in a lead role are preferred. You will lead crews, coordinate with management, and ensure quality workmanship while meeting project needs, including flexible hours and exposure to

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in bridge/heavy highway construction.
• 2+ years experience in Lead/Lead Carpenter role (preferred).
• Valid Driver's License (required).
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities; experience managing crews and subcontractors (preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively with crew members, project management, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ability to read and understand work plans.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks across construction project with tools, lumber, and materials.
• Carry out basic carpentry for wooden forms and bracing.
• Operate and position piles, and erect steel and concrete girders.
• Manage crews, equipment, and materials to keep crews productive.
• Train others on the crew and attend daily safety meetings.
• Follow safety policies and ensure a safe work environment.
• Work hours may include days, nights, and weekends.
• Adapt to adverse weather conditions.
