Job summary

Helping Hands Family is seeking a Lead BCBA to join our in-clinic team in the Northeast. You will provide expert ABA services, guide a team of RBTs and BCBAs, and help shape program development and quality improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes mentoring, clinical supervision, and leadership within a collaborative clinic environment. This position offers a competitive base salary and a sign-on bonus, with strong opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification required.
  • 3 years of experience in ABA, 2 years with BCBA license.
  • Experience supervising RBTs and other BCBAs preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality ABA services to children with autism.
  • Supervise and mentor up to 5 RBTs/BCBAs.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Directors and Regional Directors of Quality.
  • Develop treatment plans and monitor client progress.
  • Maintain compliant documentation per BACB and state guidelines.

This role requires advanced clinical skill, reliability, and leadership potential. In other words, an ABA expert looking to share their expertise with their team of RBTs and other BCBAs.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based ABA services to children with autism
  • Manageable Caseload: Up to 10 clients, completing 28 billable hours in a 40-hour week (note: billable hours are not tied to pay)
  • Work with children ages 2-18, most under age 6
  • Supervise and develop up to 5 RBTs
  • Conduct assessments, write individualized treatment plans, andmonitorclient progress
  • Collaborate with Clinical Directors, fellow BCBAs, and Regional Directors of Quality to troubleshoot cases and uphold best practices
  • Maintain ethical documentation and compliance with BACB and state guideline

What You'll Need:

  • Active BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • State Licensure whererequired
  • 3 years of experience in ABA field, 2 years with BCBA license
  • ABA experience (RBT background a plus for new BCBAs)
  • Strong communicationskills and ability to work in a clinic-based setting
  • Passion for ethical, client-centered ABA in a team-focused environment

Helping Hands Family Base Salary Range

$85,000 - $95,000 USD
