Qualifications

The Lead BCBA serves as the primary clinical leader for the after-school Social Connections Program while maintaining a center-based daytime caseload. This role combines clinical responsibilities with program oversight, staff development, quality assurance, and implementation support.The Lead BCBA supports participant placement, coaches staff, monitors treatment fidelity, and ensures individualized treatment goals are integrated into meaningful social learning opportunities. During program startup and growth, the Lead BCBA may also provide direct case oversight as additional BCBAs are hired and trained.This position collaborates with clinical, program development, and operational leadership to support program quality, growth, and long-term sustainability.

About the Social Connections Program

The Social Connections Program is a center-based, after-school ABA program for school-aged learners that combines individualized treatment with structured peer interactions. Through engaging social activities, learners build communication, social, emotional regulation, adaptive, and problem-solving skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.As a Lead BCBA, you will work a schedule of 10:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., providing clinical leadership and support during the program’s after-school service hours.

What You'll Do: Direct Clinical Responsibilities
  • Maintain direct BCBA service delivery and billable activity in alignment with organizational expectations
  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and reassessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments, to identify target behaviors
  • Train and supervise Behavior Technicians (BTs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other team members on intervention strategies.
  • Review and analyze clinical data regularly to guide treatment decisions and improve client outcomes
  • Provide ongoing training and support to families, caregivers, and relevant stakeholders in behavioral strategies
  • Provide treatment that is in accordance with BACB’s guidelines, policies, procedures, and ethical standards set forth by the Company
Clinical Leadership
  • Serve as the primary clinical leader for the Social Connections Program ensuring fidelity of ABA programming across the center
  • Ensure clinical practices are evidence-based, ethically implemented, and aligned with organizational and regulatory standards
  • Provide program leadership through effective management of clinical operations, staffing, organizational priorities, and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Support participant placement and group composition to foster meaningful and mutually beneficial social skills groups
  • Guide the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure alignment between best clinical practices and operational decisions
  • Serve as the clinical lead for escalated families, addressing compliance issues and complex clinical concerns
  • Develop and deliver CEU training for BCBAs to maintain certification and build clinical skills
Supervision and Staff Development
  • Support onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training for clinical staff
  • Provide leadership oversight, coaching, and performance feedback for assigned direct reports
  • Conduct semiannual performance evaluations, identify individual development goals, and monitor quarterly and annual KPIs to ensure productivity and high performance of assigned direct reports
  • Lead clinical meetings and promote a culture of collaboration, professional development, and clinical excellence
  • Serve as the response supervisor for BCBAs, RBTs, and trainees pursuing certifications, providing clinical oversight through regular observation, feedback, coaching, and mentorship
Program and Operational Oversight
  • Collaborate with Intake Department, operational leadership, and other relevant stakeholders regarding program operations and clinical needs
  • Support implementation of the Social Connections Program framework, curriculum, and activity schedules
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of BCBAs, RBTs, and other program staff, partnering with HR and leadership on selection decisions
  • Manage clinical capacity planning, staffing needs, and participant placement to support program operations and growth
  • Coordinate with scheduling and intake partners on client start dates and smooth case transitions
  • Monitor program quality, consistency, and learner outcomes
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and program planning initiatives
  • Support program development, continuous quality improvement initiatives, and expansion efforts
Other Duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned consistent with scope of certification, licensure, and professional competence
  • Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned by the executive leadership team
What You'll Need
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in state providing services, if applicable
  • Completion of BACB-approved supervision training
  • 3+ years of BCBA experience in supervisory, leadership, or quality-focused role
  • Minimum of one year of relevant job-related experience, including providing supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to clinical staff within a social skills group setting
  • Experience working in Electronic Health Records, preference given to those with CentralReach experience

Work Location & Hours: This is an on-site position based at our Voorhees, NJ Early Intervention Center. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. EST. The Lead BCBA is expected to maintain a 20-hour weekly billable caseload while providing clinical leadership, mentorship, and oversight to ensure high-quality service delivery and positive client outcomes.

Compensation The expected salary range for this role is $110,000-$112,000 per year.Hourly bonus rate: $80–$90/hr for billable hours beyond your weekly goal.

Final compensation will be based on a range of factors, such as your skills, education, experience, certifications, market conditions, and internal equity.
