Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking a senior biostatistician to lead statistical activities across late-stage drug/vaccine development. You will guide cross-functional teams, design studies, and ensure regulatory-aligned analyses while coordinating statistical programming efforts.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in statistics/biostatistics with 9+ years relevant experience, or
• Master’s with 12+ years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as statistical lead in cross-functional project teams.
• Provide biostatistical support for drug/vaccine projects in Late Development.
• Lead interactions with clinical, regulatory, and data teams on trial design and analysis.
• Mentor junior staff and manage statistical programming staff as needed.
• Prepare reports for management, regulators, and investigators.
