Keck Medicine of USC seeks an experienced Biostatistician II to lead day‑to‑day biostatistical activities for ATRI-sponsored trials. You will perform analyses, contribute to study design, and guide junior statisticians within an established team in an academic setting.

This role requires strong R and SAS programming skills, experience with longitudinal data, and the ability to communicate complex methods to nonstatistical investigators.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional biostatistics or statistical research experience following the graduate degree.
• Demonstrated experience applying statistical methods in clinical trials, clinical research, or other complex biomedical research.

Responsabilités

• Manage day‑to‑day biostatistical activities for assigned clinical trials and studies under senior staff oversight.
• Perform and oversee statistical programming and analyses for clinical trials and related studies.
• Develop study designs, endpoints, analysis objectives, and statistical analysis plans.
• Communicate statistical concepts and results clearly to investigators and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure quality control and reproducibility of statistical outputs and reporting.
