Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Process Development Principal Scientist to lead research and development efforts for manufacturing processes and to design, conduct, and interpret studies that improve efficiency and quality.

You will apply analytical expertise (CE, SEC, IEX, RP, HILIC, MS) to characterize proteins, support regulatory submissions, and drive technology transfer while mentoring teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• PhD/PharmD/MD with 2+ years scientific experience.
• MS with 5+ years scientific experience.
• BS with 7+ years scientific experience.

Responsibilities

• Head R&D efforts for manufacturing processes and develop novel methodologies.
• Design experiments to understand protein attributes and stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on analytical method development and regulatory readiness.
• Support drug substance/product development and technology transfer activities.
