Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking an experienced data engineering professional to design, develop, and maintain production-grade data solutions supporting Clinical Data Management, Statistical Programming, and Biostatistics within a regulated GxP environment.

You will implement CDISC standards (CDASH/SDTM/ADaM) and build scalable pipelines moving data from collection systems to analysis-ready datasets, with automated CDISC data flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a related field and 6+ years in data engineering, statistical programming, or clinical data management in a regulated environment.
• Advanced knowledge of CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM, ADaM, define.xml) and their application across data collection, analysis, and regulatory submission.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex, production-grade data engineering solutions for clinical data management, statistics, or biostatistics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate workflows, define requirements, and set success criteria for data engineering initiatives.
• Translate biometrics processes into production-grade data products with clear ownership and versioning.
• Design, build, and maintain pipelines moving data from collection systems to analysis-ready datasets.
• Automate CDISC data flows (CDASH, SDTM, ADaM) and support for TFL/SoA within GMP context.
• Develop data quality tools and automated checks to shift from manual review to exception-based workflows.
• Create study-start-up tools (EDC, protocol-to-SAP, SAP-to-TFL shell automation) and assist in regulatory submission readiness.
• Provide technical guidance to Biometrics and Clinical stakeholders and evaluate emerging technologies.
