Explico, a forensic engineering firm, seeks an Experienced Testifying Expert in Biomechanics in Chicago, IL. You will lead complex biomechanics casework, provide deposition and courtroom testimony, and mentor engineers while advancing client service on high-profile matters.

Requirements include 8+ years in forensic engineering or accident reconstruction, PE license, and preferably ACTAR certification, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of forensic engineering or accident reconstruction experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• ACTAR certification strongly preferred.
• Proven expert witness experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert opinions supported by research, testing, and literature.
• Provide deposition and trial testimony.
• Serve as lead expert on biomechanics cases.
• Maintain and grow client relationships.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
