Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for Big Data and Analytics within Consumer and Community Banking Data Technology. You will be a core technical contributor delivering trusted, scalable solutions using Java, AWS, Spark, Snowflake, and Python.

Lead data strategy, governance, and analytics while ensuring secure and compliant data practices across cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years of applied experience in software development.
• Full SDLC experience within an Agile framework.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data strategy, governance, risk management, reporting and analytics.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy scalable applications.
• Produce high-quality code using Test Driven Development.
• Participate in retrospectives and code reviews to ensure architecture alignment.
• Implement CI/CD automation and cloud deployment across private and public clouds.
