You will work with cross-functional teams to translate product needs into BMS requirements, shepherd architecture across hardware, firmware, and software domains, and guide silicon and subsystem teams on trade-offs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a battery, systems, or related architecture role.
• Experience developing battery management solutions using embedded controllers.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross functional teams to establish BMS goals and requirements.
• Enable successful delivery of BMS systems for new Apple products.
• Lead the definition of next generation of BMS silicon chipsets.
• Guide the BMS domain teams in developing efficient and scalable solutions.
• Engage with multi-disciplinary architects to align on next generation objectives and BMS roadmap.
• Lead the team to develop an architecture decomposition with justified trade-offs between technology options.
• Tackle challenging trade-offs and analyze comparative options with quantitative value proposition assessments.
