A leading energy storage company is seeking a Battery Cell Engineer to lead innovative battery cell designs in collaboration with US OEM customers. The role requires a Master's Degree in a related field and at least 3 years of hardware development experience. Strong engineering principles and effective communication skills are essential. This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $180,000 and regular travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in hardware development.
• Experience in lithium-ion cell design, cell qualification, cell manufacturing, and project management is advantageous.
• Quarterly overseas travel expected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with US OEM customers and the internal cell team to drive new cell designs.
• Define performance criteria for cell designs, including electrochemical, mechanical, and safety requirements.
• Develop and implement test plans for validating new cell designs.
