Job summary

Young World Physical Education in Stanton, KY is seeking a Part-Time PCMS Baseball-Head Coach/Head Athletic Coach to lead the school baseball program. The role involves overseeing practices, coordinating with the Athletic Director, and promoting sports within the school and community.

You will teach fundamentals, ensure safety, manage schedules and uniforms, and uphold KHSAA requirements. Prior coaching experience and current first aid/CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience or participation on a team.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current certification in first aid and CPR.
• Completion of KHSAA training programs and district trainings as applicable.
• Meet all coaching requirements in KHSAA bylaw 25.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise practices and scheduling with the Athletic Director.
• Promote sports in the schools and community.
• Coach and oversee the activities of the team.
• Establish fair and written rules and consequences for athletes.
• Develop opportunities for all students interested in participation on the team.
• Monitor and manage the team budget and fundraisers.
