HVMG - Hospitality Ventures Management Group is seeking a lead bartender to craft classic and creative beverages while delivering exceptional service in a vibrant hotel setting. You will engage with guests, manage bar inventory, and ensure a clean, organized bar environment.

A passion for hospitality and attention to detail are essential. This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to beverage revenue goals

Job description

As a lead bartender, you’ll craft classic and creative beverages while delivering exceptional service in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. You’ll engage with guests, manage bar inventory, and ensure a clean, organized bar environment. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for hospitality, strong attention to detail, and a flair for mixology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional, engaging and efficient service to all guests.
  • Ensure consistency in Beverage preparation, presentation and quality.
  • Anticipate needs, up sell premium products and personalize service.
  • Handle Guest Concerns And Complaints Promptly And Professionally
  • Train, Coach, And Mentor Bartenders And Barbacks To Hotel Standards
  • Oversee Team Adherence To Service, Cleanliness, And Safety Protocols.
  • Coordinate Daily Bar Staff Assignments And Breaks To Maintain Coverage.
  • Maintain Proper Stock Levels And Oversee Inventory Control.
  • Ensure Accurate Pours, Recipes, And Portion Controls To Maximize Revenue.
  • Monitor Bar Setup, Cleanliness, And Organization Throughout Each Shift.
  • Follow And Enforce Responsible Alcohol Service Policies (Tips/Servsafe).
  • Accurately Handle Cash, Credit Card Transactions, And Guest Charges.
  • Monitor Daily Sales, Voids, And Comps For Accuracy.
  • Assist With Weekly Inventory, Cost Control, And Minimizing Waste
  • Support Management In Meeting Beverage Revenue And Profit Goals
  • Adhere To All Local, State, And Federal Liquor Laws.
  • Ensure Bar Equipment Is Clean, Functional, And Properly Maintained.
  • Uphold Food Safety And Sanitation Standards.
  • Enforce Id Checks To Prevent Underage Service.
  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Work Closely With Food & Beverage Management To Plan Promotions And Specials.
  • Communicate Effectively With Servers, Kitchen Staff, And Other Hotel Departments.
  • Participate In Pre-Shift Meetings And Provide Input On Service Improvements.
  • Support Hotel Events, Banquets, And Special Functions As Needed.
Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have

  • A combination of education and experience

Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have completed special certifications, such as bartender certification.
