Job summary

Lead Barista at Sodexo is responsible for crafting hand-crafted beverages and food while delivering great customer service at York College of Pennsylvania. You will operate cash registers, keep work areas clean, and contribute to a positive guest experience.

The role involves varying shifts, full-time employment, and a pay range of $16-$19 per hour. Training and benefits are offered, with opportunities for growth within the Sodexo network.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation and inventory control preferred.
• Starbucks Barista certification my be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks, etc.
• Record all sales, collect cash/credit card/electronic payments and operate a cash register
• Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms and preparation areas
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Pay Range: $16 - $19

What You’ll Do:

As a Lead Barista at Sodexo, you are an artist and fair-trade champion. You will create hand-crafted, quality beverages and food. Most importantly, you help people smile and make an impact with your everyday actions.You also will operate cash registers andensure all work areas are kept clean and glistening.
