Lead Barista at Sodexo located at Lipscomb University is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused team member to craft hand-crafted beverages and quality food items. You will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere and help customers smile through friendly service.

You will greet customers, take orders, prepare beverages, handle payments at the cash register, and maintain cleanliness across coffee prep and dining areas.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable and able to contribute to a healthy work environment.
• Experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation and inventory control preferred.
• Starbucks Barista certification may be required at some locations.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages.
• Record all sales, process payments and operate a cash register
• Clean coffee machines, dining and prep areas
• Attend shifts on time and with regularity
• Other duties may be assigned depending on client requirements.

Lead Barista

Location: LIPSCOMB UNIVERSITY - 54156007

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $17 - $19

What You’ll Do:

As a Lead Barista at Sodexo, you are an artist and fair-trade champion. You will create hand-crafted, quality beverages and food. Most importantly, you help people smile and make an impact with your everyday actions.You also will operate cash registers andensure all work areas are kept clean and glistening.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks, etc.
• Record all sales, collect cash/credit card/electronic payments and operate a cash register
• Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms and preparation areas
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• Previous related experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation and inventory control is preferred.
• Starbucks Barista certification my be required at some locations.
