Job summary

Cloud Hybrid Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of advanced analytics solutions on Azure Databricks and Fabric in Houston. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable data platforms.

The role requires 8+ years in data engineering, Delta Lake, and Azure data services, with strong SQL, PySpark, and CI/CD expertise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years creating data ingestion and transformation pipelines with Databricks/Synapse notebooks and Azure Data Factory.
• Delta tables, Delta Lake, ADLS Gen2 expertise and hands-on experience.
• Experience with Auto Loader and Delta Live Tables for data ingestion/transformations.
• Building and optimizing Databricks SQL query layers for analytics.
• Integrating Databricks with Azure Synapse, ADLS Gen2, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of analytics solutions using Azure Databricks and Fabric.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Oversee end-to-end implementation of data solutions aligned with business needs.
• Develop data pipelines and ETL using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and related tools.
• Integrate Databricks with Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, and on-prem systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data engineering team.
• Document architecture, data flows, and ensure security/governance compliance.
• Enforce code quality, data security, and scalable practices.
• Stay updated with Databricks and related tech to drive innovation.
