Job summary

DAS Aviation seeks a Lead Quality In-Process and RTS Inspector to oversee in-process and final RTS approvals for repaired components. You will lead the inspection team, provide hands-on training, and guide Quality and Maintenance with engineering data.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in FAA Part 145 repair, experience with RTS, and ability to interpret manuals and drawings. FAA A&P is beneficial but not required; strong English communication essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in FAA Part 145 aircraft/ component repair.
• Experience with in-process and RTS inspections.
• Qualification for RTS functions required.
• FAA A&P certification is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-process and final RTS inspections to ensure components meet data.
• Direct, train, and prioritize daily tasks for inspectors.
• Interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and OEM data.
• Audit inspection records, cure reports, and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Technicians to streamline requests.
• Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
