Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma with extensive aviation experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 10 years' aviation experience with 4 years using military standards and specifications.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field is required.
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to pass a drug and background screening
• Must be able to obtain a government security clearance
• Advanced wire repair training preferred
• Fiber optic cable repair certification preferred
• FAA A&P/FCC license preferred

Responsibilities

• Integrate wires/harnesses into aircraft.
• Troubleshoot systems to meet customer needs.
• Interpret drawings, manuals and work orders.
• Collaborate with engineers on modifications and drawings.
• Terminate connectors and cables, perform complex wire repairs.
• Lead complex modification or repair tasks.
• Conduct operational checks and acceptance tests on complex systems.
