Zusammenfassung

American Sound is seeking a Lead Audio-Visual Technician in San Francisco to install and support AV systems in corporate, educational, and arena environments. You will lead a team of technicians, interpret schematics, and ensure installations meet industry standards.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial AV integration, strong leadership, and hands-on installation of displays, projectors, audio, and control systems. Travel is required occasionally and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of commercial AV integration installation experience.
• Experience leading a team of installation technicians.
• Experience working with manufacturers such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Qsys, Cisco, and Poly.

Aufgaben

• Install AV systems including displays, projectors, audio systems, and control systems in commercial environments.
• Pull, terminate, and label network, audio, video, and control cables according to AV standards.
• Mount and secure AV hardware such as speakers, projectors, displays, and equipment racks.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure timely and accurate installation.
• Interpret and follow AV system schematics, line drawings, and construction documents.
• Test and troubleshoot installed AV systems to ensure functionality and performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site and comply with all safety procedures.
• Provide on-site support and communication with clients when needed.
• Document installation progress and report to project stakeholders as required.
• Ensure all work is completed to industry and company quality standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of installation technicians to promote efficiency and quality.
