Job summary

Peraton Labs is seeking a Principal Research Scientist in autonomous systems to lead research programs and develop cutting-edge solutions across multiple domains. You will guide a team to design, prototype, and demonstrate AI-driven systems, including cybersecurity and adversarial ML concepts, while engaging with customers to shape proposals and research directions.

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years of experience with a PhD in Computer Science or related area.
Strong research background and development experience in AI, cybersecurity, and autonomous systems.
Hands-on experience with AI technologies and tools (e.g., transformers, neural networks, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Experience in business development and writing winning proposals for R&D opportunities with government customers.

Responsibilities
