Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leveraging leadership to drive a team toward higher customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include diagnosing to specifications, explaining repairs to non‑mechanical clients, ongoing training, and assisting technicians. ASE certifications and a valid driver's license are required or pursued, with competitive, performance‑based pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• ASE certification in at least 3 of A1-A8 (L1 optional).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
