Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville TN is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, and to mentor a team to improve customer care and satisfaction.

You will perform brake, suspension, steering, and climate control repairs, stay current with automotive technology, and pursue ASE certifications with company support.

This role offers on-the-job training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to grow within Bridgestone's nationwide network of service centers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• A.S.E. certification in at least five of A1–A8 within two years.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications; tests paid by the company; bonus for each test passed.
