Avid Solutions in Morrisville, North Carolina seeks a Lead Process Control and Automation Engineer. Job Description

Our Lead Process Control and Automation Engineer works on developing and executing complex process control system integration projects.

On a typical day you will:

• Review software and documentation
• Review and lead the execution of test plans
• Review and prepare project proposals for clients
• Lead design discussions and decisions
• Interface with customers during technical discussions
• Lead the entire lifecycle of the project from initial proposal, design, implementation, qualification, and cost of ownership
• Be responsible for the resource management of the project team and task assignment
• Track delegated tasks to the members of the team
• Coordinate with the Project manager for project schedule, task status, and resource usage.

We are looking for someonewith a solid background in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical preferred) andatleast 7 or more years of overall technical experience in automation with at least three years in a Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry. Strong experience with technical management of projects. Experience with client service management is a plus. Some experience supporting peer development through mentoring and coaching activities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• BS Degree in Engineering
• A controls/automation engineer, with aminimum 7-10+ years of overall experience in Process Control / Automation
• A minimum of 3+ years of pharmaceutical industry/operating facility experience is a MUST
• Experience in consulting and / or system integration
• Experience with Rockwell HMI and PLC is a MUST
• Knowledge of Rockwell batch would be a plus
• Experience with HMI (iFix, Wonderware) OR PLC (Rockwell/Allen Bradley) OR DCS (DeltaV) is a plus

This is afull-time position. We offer our Consultants a base salary, an incentive program and a full benefit package.Generous relocation assistanceis also provided for this role. We are also sponsoring TN visas for this position.
