Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Manager, Systems Engineering to lead a professional engineering and project management team supporting Disney Cruise Line New Build initiatives. You will drive end-to-end deployment, integration, automation, validation, and commissioning across shipboard systems with a focus on modern tooling and automation.

You will collaborate with Systems Engineering, SRE, and business stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries, balancing technology with business priorities

Qualifications

8+ years in technology with 3+ years leading projects across diverse teams.
Experience with automation and infrastructure tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD).
Experience guiding system/infrastructure architecture for scalability and security.
Excellent communication and leadership across a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Technical Project Managers and Engineers across shipboard deployment lifecycles.
Oversee integration efforts and ensure a unified deployment pipeline across New Build projects.
Design an automation-first deployment pipeline strategy aligned with stakeholders.
Guide operating systems, databases, and utilities installation and support design discussions.
