Job summary

Marvin is seeking an Automation Systems Supervisor to lead automation performance in our manufacturing operations. You will oversee plant automation systems, PLCs, HMIs, and robotics to support safe, efficient, high-quality production of premium windows, doors, and skylights.

Responsibilities include guiding technicians, coordinating maintenance and upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement projects in a people-first, safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise in programming PLCs and configuring HMI/SCADA interfaces.
• Experience with industrial networks and robotics integration.
• Ability to troubleshoot controls and read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise automation technicians supporting manufacturing operations
• Oversee performance, reliability, and safety of plant automation systems, PLCs, HMIs, and robotics
• Troubleshoot and resolve controls and automation issues to minimize downtime; plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment
• Collaborate with engineering and production to implement process improvements and automation upgrades
• Develop and maintain standard work, documentation, and change control for automation systems
• Monitor automation performance data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, lockout/tagout, and electrical codes
• Train and mentor technicians and operators on automation systems and best practices
• Support capital projects and integration of new automated equipment into production lines
