Job summary

Busy Queens Auto Center is seeking an experienced Auto Technician to inspect, diagnose and repair vehicles. Candidates should have hands-on expertise with diagnostics, electrical systems, A/C, brakes, suspension and transmission work, and be able to install tires and perform wheel alignments.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and their own tools, and experience working on both foreign and domestic cars. Immediate hire is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles across makes and models.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and diagnose electrical issues.
• Proficient in air conditioning, brakes, suspension and transmission repairs.
• Experience with tire installation and wheel alignments.
• Strong tool ownership and practical repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose vehicles to determine needed repairs.
• Perform repairs across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Repair and test drive vehicles to ensure quality and safety.
• Carry out tire installation and wheel alignment services.
• Work with customers to explain repairs and provide estimates.
