Job summary

Proctor Acura is seeking a skilled automotive technician to diagnose and repair vehicles in all areas of service. The role requires maintaining the Training Level required by the dealer and manufacturers to ensure high-quality workmanship.

You will perform diagnostic tests, repair jobs, and road tests while coordinating with the parts department and service advisors. The position emphasizes safety, OSHA compliance, and mentoring junior technicians within a busy dealership environment.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications preferred.
• Ford training required/needed and travel may be required for instructor-led training.
• Will maintain and follow safety, OSHA, and dealer policies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues with efficiency and accuracy per dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Maintain and document repairs and perform road tests to confirm repairs.
• Supervise any apprentice technicians as assigned by the Shop Foreman.
• Ensure shop area is clean and parts are recycled properly.
