Job summary

Grease Monkey International in Sandy, UT is seeking a reliable Key Holder for our Quick Oil Change team. The role covers opening/closing the center, supporting daily operations, and delivering efficient, friendly service.

Basic automotive knowledge and leadership potential are preferred. Responsibilities include securing the location, handling deposits, leading the team, performing oil changes and vehicle checks, maintaining inventory, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a service or retail environment; automotive experience is a plus.
• Must pass a background check and be at least 18 with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Unlock and secure the location at the beginning and end of shifts.
• In the absence of the Center Manager, handle daily deposits and secure the location.
• Ensure cash security and close the store safe per protocols.
• Lead the team during daily operations and ensure workflow efficiency.
• Perform and oversee oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements and minor vehicle services.
• Maintain inventory and report needs to Center Manager.
• Uphold health, safety and cleanliness standards in bays and customer areas.
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve basic issues or complaints.
• Report anomalies to Center Manager or Assistant Store Manager when needed.
• Escalate safety or behavior issues to District Manager if necessary.
• Train and mentor new employees.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
