Job summary

Yellow Jacket Drilling Services (YJD) is hiring full-time Auger Drillers to operate advanced auger drill rigs across various job sites, leading field operations, supervising crews, and ensuring safety and environmental standards are met. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude and leadership experience.

Responsibilities include supervising a drill crew, operating rigs, and maintaining records, with a travel-heavy schedule and shifts of 10–12 hours.

Qualifications

• Driller’s license in NV and TX preferred.
• CDL with no restrictions.
• MSHA and OSHA 40-hour training completed.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing crawling, reaching and climbing tasks.
• Effective communication and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a drill crew while maintaining strict safety practices
• Operate auger drilling rigs and perform basic mechanical repairs as needed
• Complete and maintain job records including time sheets, reports, and well logs
• Collaborate with clients, site managers, and project leaders to keep projects on track
• Perform regular inspections of drilling equipment to ensure operational safety
