Job summary

POOLCORP, a leading pool and outdoor living distributor, seeks a Lead Auditor for a hybrid role at our Clearwater, FL HQ. You will conduct SOX, operational and compliance audits across U.S. sites, leading a team and leveraging AI analytics to improve risk management.

Requirements include a CPA/CIA/CISA or equivalent, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency with Power BI, DataSnipper, and CoPilot. Travel 20–25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field from a four-year college or university.
• Certification as a CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent.
• Understanding of IIA standards and GAAP.
• GenAI / data analytics / visualization experience leveraging Power BI, Alteryx, DataSnipper and CoPilot.
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• An analytical approach to tasks and responsibilities.
• Ability and willingness to travel 20-25%.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in a Fortune 500 or professional services firm.

Responsibilities

• Leads and/or supports the audit team during operational, financial, and SOX audits from planning to end of engagement.
• Leads and/or supports innovation and analytics within Internal Audit using Power BI, DataSnipper, and CoPilot.
• Coordinate with external auditors to gather information and support efficiency.
• Audit sales center locations domestically and internationally.
• Develop audit work programs and document workpapers per standards.
• Describe processes and identify risks and key controls.
• Prepare audit reports for Senior Management and Audit Committee.
• Track findings and remediation status and manage action owners.
• Mentor audit staff and develop team members.
• Stay updated on trends, regulations and standards affecting the business.
