Job summary

Oliver James partners with a leading advisory firm to help External Auditors transition into Corporate Accounting & Finance roles across FP&A, M&A, Fund Accounting, and System Implementations. This long-term engagement focuses on up-skilling you as an A&F professional and advancing your career, with an openness to take on new challenges.

Candidates should have an external audit foundation; CPA is preferred, and strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge with advanced Excel skills is desirable.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters degree preferred.
• CPA certification preferred - will accept those in process
• Minimum of 3 years of External Audit exposure, with a Big 4 or large CPA Firm.
• Minimum of 3 busy seasons in external audit - will accept 2 main busy seasons & a summer busy season
• High degree of professionalism, including ability to communicate with C-Suite level individuals.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB & SEC/ASC rules and standards.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (macros, pivot tables) desirable.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications
