Qualifications

• Earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated understanding of design and production, performance planning, project management, project budgeting, and/or performing arts operational needs.
• Experience with dance, music, and theatrical productions in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong leadership and written and oral communication skills are preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dean in oversight of duties including advancing research missions, supporting undergraduate and graduate programs, faculty evaluation and development, and curriculum development.
• Schedule internal and external performances and events in coordination with department Chairs; oversee space usage, budgets, contracts, and purchasing.
• Manage the college’s performing arts venues and spaces, ensuring safety, compliance, and coordination with university units.
• Contribute to strategic planning, budget development, and teaching load of 3–6 credits per year.
