Qualifications

• Must complete weekly lesson plans
• Must be familiar with Bright from the Start rules and Quality Rated
• Minimum 2 years in a state-licensed child care facility

Responsibilities

• Develop classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
• Lead by example; coach teaching team through modeling and guidance.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to engage children and support growth.
• Communicate with parents through discussions, progress reports, and conferences.
• Ensure center policies and state regulations are met.
• Maintain a healthy, safe, and hygienic classroom environment.
• Supervise teacher assistants and volunteers.
• Maintain accurate records and files.
• Pursue ongoing professional development for quality improvement
