Job summary

Alloi Architecture + Construction seeks an experienced Architect to lead the architecture department in Los Angeles. The role focuses on managing a small studio, collaborating with the in-house construction team, and guiding projects from concept through documentation.

You will oversee construction budgets, present design packages to clients, and ensure compliance with LA codes, while mentoring staff and driving design excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years design and construction experience for residential custom single-family projects.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills; team player.
• Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines.
• Interest in lighting design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small studio of 4 designers.
• Collaborate with in-house construction team.
• Work with detailed construction budgets.
• Present design packages to clients and associates.
• Interact and manage architectural office procedures.
• Sketch layouts by hand and model projects digitally.
