Job summary

Design Draw Build, Inc. in Oakland is seeking a Project Manager – Architect (PM–A) to lead a design studio and manage project delivery from concept through Construction Administration.

You will guide a team of 8-10 designers, junior architects, and job captains, ensuring on-time client delivery and high-quality documentation. Ideal candidates have 5-8 years in architecture, a B-Arch or M-Arch, California experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in an architecture firm
• CA-based leadership experience preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCad, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
• California Building Code knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Management of complete architectural projects from inception to construction administration
• Ensure timely client deliverables and approved timelines
• Oversee in-house staff, consultants, and vendors
• Design and draft documents for all project phases (Feasibility to Construction Administration)
• Feasibility studies and code reviews for architectural projects
• Coordinate permits and municipal approvals
• Develop presentation materials with design staff support
• Lead the design team of 8-10 designers and junior architects
• Maintain in-house standards and quality control for documentation
• Develop construction details and interfaces with construction managers
