Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years distributed storage systems experience.
• Ability to meet security screening requirements as part of the application process.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the technical design and vision for the underlying systems enabling query-ability on a massive, connected graph inventory.
• Optimize runtime and query engine performance across distributed architectures to meet ambitious goals.
• Leverage the cloud's authorization engine for secure access control while maintaining high performance.
• Collaborate with Azure Core and Microsoft teams to drive architecture and development of the Project Galaxy effort.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, and balance long-term architecture with incremental milestones.
