Job summary

Greybridge Search & Selection is seeking a Lead Applied Scientist to help build the next generation of document understanding technology for a global information and technology business.

You will work on semantic chunking, document enrichment, information extraction, and knowledge graph pipelines, taking ideas from experimentation through to production with engineering, product and subject-matter experts.

Qualifications

• Strong background in applied NLP, document understanding or information extraction and production deployment.
• Hands-on experience taking ML systems from research to production in complex domains.
• Experience with semantic chunking, knowledge graphs, and multi-label classification.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy semantic chunking models for long documents.
• Build document enrichment systems against legal, tax and accounting taxonomies.
• Develop information extraction and knowledge graph pipelines across documents.
• Work on hierarchical and multi-label classification for complex structures.
• Mentor other applied scientists and contribute to AI strategy.
