Raytheon’s Mission Applied Science & Technology (MAST) directorate is seeking a Lead Applied Imagery Scientist and Data Scientist with deep experience using machine learning including neural networks and computer vision to develop research prototypes, and transition them to production‑grade analytics pipelines to join the MAST AIML Solutions team. The MAST directorate is an energetic multi‑disciplinary team of over 60 engineers working collaboratively with internal and external customers to develop novel solutions for data science and emerging technology applications. Our team pushes the boundaries of innovation and creativity to establish next‑generation mission solutions from system‑level up to campaign level.
This position is onsite. You will be required to work at our Dulles, VA facility and/or the customer facility in Springfield, VA.
Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.
Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
