Job summary

Pure Air Filtration, LLC in Norcross, GA, seeks an Applications Engineer to lead the Applications Engineering function, provide advanced technical sales support, and help with proposals, equipment sizing, and process improvements.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and marketing to develop detailed technical and commercial proposals, support design of new products, and assist with process improvements. A degree in engineering and 3–5 years in related fields are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of engineering experience in applications engineering, technical sales support, or related field.
• Proven ability to perform hands-on technical applications engineering and develop new processes and capabilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Applications Engineering function with processes, documentation standards, and quality controls.
• Generate accurate quotations and proposals for municipal and industrial customers.
• Partner with Sales to provide advanced applications engineering support and equipment recommendations.
• Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals with system designs and pricing.
• Prepare material and labor cost estimates for engineered equipment and systems.
• Review specifications and assess technical and warranty risks; provide management recommendations.
• Maintain CRM and project records; collaborate with Engineering on new products.
