Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an experienced Application Support and DevOps Specialist to administer and support multiple enterprise platforms. The role involves collaborating with business and technical teams, performing problem analysis, and driving automation and DevOps improvements.

The ideal candidate has development experience and a DevOps background, with strong scripting skills and familiarity with CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with application support and development.
• 3+ years of experience using DevOps practices, tools, frameworks.
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments, AD, SQL, and load balancing.
• Experience with off-the-shelf applications such as Quorum, Entero, and Allegro.
• Strong ability to analyze user needs and propose process improvements.
• Experience with monitoring tools and CI/CD concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct technical assistance to key business users and application support for vendor & custom developed apps.
• Maintain build processes, deployment strategies, and automation.
• Install and coordinate patches/releases to development, test, and production systems.
• Improve application delivery using containers, orchestration, and configuration management tools.
• Assist business teams and vendors with installations and upgrades.
• Support and maintain application infrastructure (servers, network topology, authentication, and high availability).
• Manage access controls, auditing, and reporting for Segregation of Duties.
• Stay up to date on technologies and propose strategies/tools.
• Coordinate meetings and document decisions, risks, issues.
• Work with minimal supervision and own applications and areas.
