CVS Health is seeking a Principal Application Security Engineer - Threat Research to secure healthcare technologies at scale. You will embed security into development pipelines, drive policy enforcement, and mentor teams across multi-cloud and on-prem environments.

You will lead threat research, vulnerability analyses, and strategic deployment of cutting-edge security tools to strengthen data protection and operational resilience. This is a full-time, on-site role with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and deploying security technologies.
• 7+ years in programming languages such as Java, C/C++, Python.
• 5+ years with public cloud and network security.
• 5+ years implementing data protection and compliance.
• 5+ years designing WAF and Layer 7 security solutions.
• 3+ years leading security initiatives with project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce security policies across software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to secure practices.
• Analyze security across multi-cloud and on-prem environments.
• Lead security testing, vulnerability analysis, and documentation.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call operations across regions.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive security research initiatives.
• Plan security roadmap, risk assessments, and budgets.
