Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience using Java, Spring Boot, REST, Microservices, RDBMS/NoSQL, cloud-native, Agile, DevOps, and TDD.
• Recent experience with a cloud platform such as AWS; Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with API platforms and end-to-end API stack, including security and governance.
• Advanced knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (cloud, AI/ML, mobile, etc.).
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Practical cloud-native experience.
• Background in CS/CE/Math or related field.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and responsible AI use.

Responsibilities

• Brings discipline and creativity to solve business-critical problems with tech leads, PMs, and designers to deliver outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve engineering deliverables quality.
• Communicate with stakeholders and lead discussions with customers.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code; review others' code.
• Drive decisions that influence product design, operations, and processes with technical leadership.
• Serve as a function-wide SME in one or more focus areas.
• Contribute to engineering community through firmwide SDLC frameworks and practices.
• Drive adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery.
• Apply SDLC tools including AI-assisted development to increase value.
