Job summary

Sidglobal is seeking an experienced Apigee Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise API and microservices solutions, driving API strategy, governance, security, and cloud-native architecture.

The candidate will have deep expertise in Apigee Edge, Apigee X, Apigee Hybrid, GCP, and microservices architecture, with the ability to provide technical leadership across large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing APIs with Apigee Edge, X, and Hybrid.
• Hands-on with REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON, XML.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures.
• Strong GCP experience including GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, IAM, Monitoring.
• Experience deploying Apigee Hybrid on Kubernetes/GKE.
• Familiar with OAuth 2.0, JWT, OIDC, SSL/TLS, and threat protection policies.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise APIs using Apigee Edge, X, and Hybrid.
• Lead API development, deployment, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures with Java/Spring Boot.
• Architect and deploy API management solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Establish API security and governance standards, and reusable frameworks.
• Drive containerization and deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, and GKE.
