Job summary

Wolters Kluwer seeks a Lead Technical Product Manager to own API, integration, and embedded app deliverables that connect UpToDate intelligence with healthcare tools. You will partner with platform and engineering teams to define requirements and drive adoption by partners.

The role emphasizes fast, reliable production delivery, governance, and AI-enabled capabilities, with a focus on interoperability in clinical workflows and enterprise-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years delivering complex software products from problem definition through launch and iteration.
• Experience owning execution and outcomes for a platform, API, integration, or other technical product area.
• Strong technical fluency in APIs, distributed systems, authentication/authorization, reliability, SLAs/SLOs, and cloud architecture.
• Experience building developer-facing integration capabilities, including APIs, SDKs, documentation, versioning strategies, or sandbox environments.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and GitHub to manage product backlogs and decisions for cross-functional teams.
• Experience delivering products that integrate into enterprise or clinical workflows.
• Experience shipping production AI-enabled capabilities, including evaluation, monitoring, guardrails, and readiness.
• Strong product judgment in regulated/high-trust environments.
• Ability to lead through influence across technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own execution and outcomes for defined API, integration, embedded app, and AI capabilities.
• Lead delivery of APIs enabling third-party integrations.
• Lead embedding UpToDate Expert AI into clinical tools incl. EHR systems.
• Translate partner/workflow needs into requirements.
• Manage roadmap sequencing, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
• Serve as integration product expert for other teams.
• Improve API governance, lifecycle, versioning, reliability, and DX.
• Define requirements for AI quality, safety, monitoring, and readiness.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Data, Security, Legal, and others.
• Communicate priorities and risks to leadership and teams.
• Identify recurring needs and create reusable capabilities and self-service tools.
• Oversee discovery, readiness, onboarding, testing, launch, monitoring, upgrades, and deprecation.
