Job summary

Qualifications

• Six (6) months related animal care experience preferred.
• Experience in humane animal handling, restraint and confinement.
• Willingness to work flexible days and hours, including evening shifts, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Care for animals in shelter, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Assist with adoptions and public inquiries; provide information on services.
• Support volunteers and supervise as needed in Adoptions and Animal Care.
• Enter animal data and maintain accurate records in Shelter Buddy.
• Assist with medical tasks under supervision and transport animals as needed.
• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with the public.
