Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Alexandria, VA. The assignment includes supervising CRNAs and performing blocks, across a 9-OR facility, with a stable Monday–Friday, 40-hour schedule and ASAP start.

The candidates should be board-certified in anesthesiology with ACLS, BLS, and PALS, and hold Virginia license or be eligible via IMLC. Epic EMR experience is required, with AMN Healthcare providing travel and lodging support.

Qualifications

• Board-certified anesthesiologist with unrestricted license.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Virginia medical license or eligible via IMLC.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CRNAs and manage own anesthesia blocks.
• Provide anesthesia care Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly.
• Utilize Epic EMR to document perioperative care.
